So, today my grandfather turned 95. Gotta love that.

And Alice is totally relaxed. Seems like this year is going to be a breeze! House looks good (good enough anyway… if you’re my friend you are coming to see me and not the house), food should be here shortly, and we have hundreds of dollars in beer, wine and other drinks.

So, I have no idea what is going on. It has been a very odd period in my life lately. I quit the job I love with the people and technology I have worked with for about a decade. My hair is out of control. Alice is now digging all the technology I bring home. Ok, maybe she doesn’t love the Xbox (yet) but she likes the HD-DVD’s!

Today she discovered how cool the Apple TV is. We sync’d her laptop and now she’s previewing her Christmas tunes playlist for the party tonight. She’s all, “This is cool!” and I respond with, “Who are you?”

Earlier this week she was liking her blackberry.
