Real World drama for your mama…
OK… I know they take 20-ish year olds and make drinks readily available but there is more than that. I’m not sure what they’re doing but these kids have issues… some are good issues (21 yr old hot cheerleader issues - good) and some are bad issues (gay southern baptist white dude who might hate black people - not good).
I see people with so much rage and it doesn’t make good TV for me. I don’t like rage. Anger I’m comfortable with but out and out rage not so much.
I also don’t get the need to fire off racial slurs. People say Mel Gibson was drunk and can be ignored. Huh? Watching this Real World shows that position to be complete crap. This kid is going crazy and starts throwing out the slurs. Clearly the kid is drunk but that doesn’t excuse that level of rage or that reaction. I don’t think Ty is much better but it felt like that might be an editing trick to show him getting worked up on his own.
I don’t get it.
