Maybe I’m going away for 8 weeks…

I was called for jury duty and I get to go back on Oct 10th to see if I get picked. The judge explained that the trial involves, among other things, a murder charge so it is expected to take 8 weeks. If picked I think I start to serve around the 16th so kiss the rest of this year at work goodbye.
